1 - What is NLP Practitioner about?

NLP is about human behaviour, particularly the patterns that all human beings have. Some of these patterns are very useful, and allow us to be highly resourceful and motivated, and get great results. Some patterns of behaviour are less than useful.

It's also about how we humans communicate....not just the language we use, although this is important, it's also about the non-verbal communication....what our bodies are saying unconsciously.

Most of us learned both the patterns of behaviour, and our communication skills from our experience with other people. It's a bit like a baby learning to walk...the child observes what others are doing and tries to replicate it....and it might not get it first time, or even second time, but eventually they will learn to walk. This is the process of modelling, and is ultimately what NLP does...it's about learning to model the people who inspire us...learning the things they do, time after time, so that you can get the same results as excellent salespeople, communicators, therapists, leaders or whatever it is that you want to be.

Imagine then, if you could pick up a set of tools which allows you to enhance the positive patterns, and alter the less than positive ones! Consider the power of being able to "read" the non-verbal clues as well as just listening to the words....How much difference would it make if you could effectively communicate your message in a way that was confident, motivational and powerful? What sort of difference would it make to your business life, your home life, your relationships, your inner feelings if you knew you were always totally in control, calm, relaxed and in a great state of being?

NLP is about being first consciously aware of our patterns, and making changes to our thought processes and behaviour which support and uplift us. It's about being more in control of who we are, more aware of our limiting beliefs, more curious, more able to respond confidently, and more able to get more of what we want, and less of what we don't want.

NLP is both an attitude (of wanton curiosity and striving for excellence) and a methodology which leaves behind it a trail of techniques.

This 8 day course is certified by the INHNLP and recognised by the BBNLP and all credible NLP training providers throughout the world.

2 - Certification Requirements

Please note that certification as a practitioner of NLP is not guaranteed by attending one of our courses.

We do not believe you should be able to just "buy" your certification, and will ask you to complete certain tasks both within and without the training environment.

For example, all practitioners are given a full set of MP3's on either CD or DVD when you sign up for a course, and it is a requirement of certification to listen to the entire MP3 set twice in order to become a full practitioner of NLP. (We will allow you up to three months after the end of the course to complete your listening)

The standard requirements of certification by Fastforward NLP include:

• Completion of listening to all MP3 sets twice
• Full participation in the training, including all exercises
• Satisfy trainers that you are making satisfactory progress
• Demonstrating a willingness to learn NLP
• Demonstrate some area of learning to the lead trainers

3 - Fees

NLP Practitioner training costs £1700 + VAT per person.
Deposits are normally required for practitioner courses, and payment in full should be received before commencement of training. Grant assistance may be available for these courses, and we encourage individuals to contact us to find out if support from the Government is available for you.
